+ Breast Augmentation

Breast augmentation (Enlargement) is the placement of an implant to enlarge the breasts. It can be done alone or in conjunction with a breast lift to enhance the female silhouette. Dr. Yates will guide you regarding selection of the correct implant size to meet your aesthetic goals. Implants can be placed above or below the muscle through a variety of incisions. A tailor made treatment plan will be designed for you during your consultation.

Breast Lift

A breast lift is a procedure which can be done alone or in conjunction with a breast enlargement or reduction. It is performed to shape the breast and elevate droopy or low hanging nipples. It gives breasts a more perky and youthful appearance. In addition to the cosmetic benefit, patients report improvement in posture, neck and back pain, and enjoy wearing clothes without a bra if they desire. Dr. Yates always strives to work through minimal incisions and strives for fine inconspicuous scars.

These procedures involve the use of breast implants, your own tissue, or a combination of both. Dr. Yates works with patients undergoing both immediate (at the time of surgery) and delayed (a period of time after the breast was removed) reconstruction. She offers tissue expanders, implants, and free flap reconstructions. Dr. Yates will work with you to determine the right reconstruction method to meet your goals. She also performs complex revision procedures and uses ADM (acellular dermal matrix) and fat grafting to optimize previously reconstructed breasts. Dr. Yates strives of excellent aesthetic outcome when reconstructing the breast, and she commonly cares for patients who have or are undergoing radiation therapy.
